Guys spend months obsessing over what to say to her. You can’t control how she responds. You know what you control completely? How you show up. And here’s the part nobody frames right: this isn’t for her. Every morning the mirror is your first interaction of the day, and whatever guy you see in it — that’s who you carry into every room. Women don’t fall for the haircut. They notice the guy who walks like he respects himself.
Here’s exactly what to do this week:
The haircut — let AI show you first.
Your face shape decides the haircut — not trends, not what your buddy got. Example from my own head: I’ve got a bigger forehead, so I rock a fringe that comes forward instead of slicked back. Not hiding anything — picking the cut that works with my features instead of fighting them. Big forehead → fringe or textured crop forward. Rounder face → height on top. Longer face → fuller sides, less height.
Not sure what works on you? Take a clear, well-lit photo of your face straight on and upload it to an AI that generates images (ChatGPT or Gemini). Say: “Show me what I’d look like with 3 different haircuts that fit my face shape.” It’ll send you back actual pictures of you with each style. Won’t be pixel-perfect, but it’s close enough to know what direction works — free, in five minutes.
Then book a barber with 4.5+ stars, show him the winner, and say: “I’m thinking something like this — does it fit my face, or would you adjust it?” Barbers give safe cuts because guys walk in with nothing. You’re walking in with a picture. Cost: $30–50. One hour, this week.
Match your shirt to your arms — 10 minutes in the mirror tonight.
There’s no one right fit. There’s the right fit for your build — and both directions have a play:
Skinny or average arms? Baggier is your friend. Longer sleeves that come down toward the elbow, roomier through the body, more of a cropped length so it doesn’t swallow you. It builds a frame instead of exposing one — you look put-together, not like you’re hiding.
Been putting in work at the gym? Go the other way. Tighter fit, sleeve that cuts off higher and actually squeezes the bicep. You earned it — the shirt’s job is to show it.
Tonight: put on your three most-worn shirts and be honest about which build you are and which fit you’re wearing. Most guys are wearing the opposite of what works for them — skinny guys in tight tees showing what isn’t there, built guys drowning the work in fabric. Fixing that mismatch costs you nothing but the next shirt you buy.
The tan — self-tanner is the cheat code.
A slight tan sharpens everything: jawline looks more defined, skin looks healthier, every color you wear works better. And you don’t need the sun — self-tanner gets you there year-round without frying your skin.
Keep it simple: grab one from Loving Tan, Tanologist, or St. Tropez — the brands I’d actually point you to. Start with their lighter shade and see how it sits on your skin. You can always build darker later; you can’t un-orange yourself by Friday. Wash your palms right after applying. The goal is “did you just get back from a trip?” — one shade warmer, natural.
That’s the week: an AI mockup and one barber visit, a 10-minute mirror check, and a bottle of tanner. You’ll look noticeably sharper by Sunday.
You’ll notice her noticing. But watch what happens first — you’ll catch yourself in the mirror and stand different. That’s the actual product. The attraction is the side effect.
