By the time you're reading this, I just landed in Alabama. The last big country festival of the year. Four days of filming. And I'm gonna be honest with you about something.
I didn't want to come.
I've been putting off this decision for weeks. The IRL content — the approaching, the interviews, the festival stuff — is what most of you found me through. And here's the part that might surprise you: I'm introverted at heart. Walking around with a camera on me, talking to strangers all day, has always drained me. People assume I do it because I'm just built different. I'm not. It costs me the same thing it would cost you.
So why do it at all?
Because I know what it does. Every time an introverted guy watches me walk up to a stranger, some part of his brain goes "wait, if it's hard for him too, then it's not impossible for me." That's worth more than my comfort. And it's the proof behind everything I teach. I'm not asking you to do anything I haven't done a thousand times, drained or not.
That's the thing nobody tells you about confidence. It was never about becoming an extrovert. Some of the most socially capable guys I know are introverts. The skill isn't loving it. The skill is being able to DO it when it matters, and knowing why you're doing it.
So no, I didn't feel like coming. Feelings are information, not instructions. This trip is worth doing — it's the last run of the year at the thing I built my name on. So I'm here. Four days, all in, no half-effort.
I'll tell you how it goes next week.

P.S. Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Reply with one word. I've got a feeling about what this list looks like and I want to see if I'm right.
