Two weeks ago I told you confidence is built from evidence, not affirmations. I left one thing out, and honestly it's the most important part.
I still get scared every single time.
I've approached thousands of girls at this point — on camera, off camera, bars, festivals, you get the point. And right before I walk over, there is STILL a moment where my whole body tells me not to do it. Heart rate up, brain throwing excuses at me, all of it. That moment never went away. Not after a hundred approaches, not after a thousand.
I used to think that meant I wasn't actually confident. Like real confident guys just don't feel that. But that's the lie. Nobody gets to skip the fear. The guys you think are fearless are just guys who stopped waiting for the fear to leave before they act.
Here's the order that actually builds it. Courage comes first — that's doing the thing WHILE you're scared. Then the action. Then the evidence that you survived it. Confidence is just what all that evidence turns into over time.
Most guys have it backwards. They're waiting to feel confident so they can finally act. But confidence is the LAST thing to show up, not the first. If you're waiting for it, you'll be waiting forever.
I just put out a full video on this — the kind of confidence nobody teaches you, and the other 50% that's been holding you back. Go watch it, and reply with the biggest lesson you learned.
