Answer this question honestly.
What would a woman have to bring into your life to make it better than the one you already have?
Not "what do you want in a girl." That's a different question, and it's the easy one. Everybody's got that list. Pretty, loyal, funny, good family. Cool.
I'm asking what she'd have to add. What would actually have to improve for her presence to be a net gain.
Most guys go quiet right there. And the silence is the diagnosis.
Because here's the flip. Standards aren't really about her. Standards are a measurement of how much your own life is worth.
If your days are empty, any girl with a pulse clears the bar. She texts back, your day has a purpose now. That's not attraction, that's a vacancy getting filled.
That's why guys with nothing going on fall the hardest and the fastest. It's not because they met somebody special. It's because the position was wide open and she applied.
When I actually sat down and wrote my list, it surprised me. The stuff on it had almost nothing to do with looks. She doesn't create drama. Her friends don't create drama, because you're not just dating her, you're dating whoever her friends are too. She pushes me toward my work instead of pulling me away from it. She's an ally of my time, not a competitor for it.
Notice what that list requires. It requires me to have work I care about. Time that's worth protecting. Peace that drama would actually cost. The list only exists because the life exists.
A man with a full life asks what she adds. A man with an empty one asks what she'll tolerate.
So here's the move this week. Write the actual list. Not the "my type" list. The other one. What would have to get better?
If you can fill it out fast, good. Now you know your bar and you'll stop negotiating with yourself when someone almost clears it.
If you sit there stuck, even better. You just found out the problem was never finding the right girl. It's that you haven't built anything a girl could be right for. Fix that first. The list writes itself after.
Reply and tell me one real thing on your list. Not a looks thing. One thing she'd have to add.
